Michelle Wright is the artist and founder behind Rushing River Design, a Pacific Northwest–based studio specializing in resin and mixed-media art inspired by rivers, coastlines, and the natural movement of water. With more than 30 years of experience in local government, including the planning and design of parks and city infrastructure, Michelle brings a deep understanding of place, form, and community into her work. Using resin, wood, sand, and natural elements, she creates pieces that capture the movement and depth of water while blending beauty with function. Each handcrafted piece reflects her belief that art—like public spaces—should connect people, tell stories, and enrich everyday life.
