Christy Branson Encaustic/Ceramics/Mixed Media

Christy Branson is an acclaimed encaustic and mixed-media artist based in Spokane, Washington. Her work is built through repetitive layering of molten wax, pigments and fiber, creating evocative compositions where color, texture, and gesture converge into contemplative abstract and landscape forms. Christy’s artistic journey weaves fine art practice with ceramic and sculptural approaches, continually expanding her expressive range. Water and what lies beneath is a constant source of inspiration to her and is reflected in everything she does. Christy has also exhibited in solo and group shows across the Pacific Northwest, nationally and globally.
