My fascination with maritime themes comes from my father’s service in the Navy.  As a painter and historian I use truth and fiction and at times mix them to present a scene that the viewer may fill with their thoughts and interpretation. There is a special beauty in joining sea and beach scenes with the figurative.  My task and my hope is to share this with you.
