Bailey’s Adventure Painting
Painter Bailey Miller is equal parts artist and adventurer. From the Rocky Mountains of the Northwest to the vast coastline of the Pacific Ocean, Bailey has lived in numerous states exploring and painting her way through the West. She has lived in Washington, Idaho and California but ultimately found home in Spokane. Finding inspiration from her adventures in the surrounding landscape, her work focuses on capturing the immense beauty of the Northwest. Bailey has always been an artist but did not pick up painting until her freshman year of college during an elective mixed media course. She instantly fell in love and after a few years of painting for enjoyment during school, she changed course and truly began her artistic pursuits. Bailey officially began her professional career as a fine artist in 2016 and has since shown in numerous galleries and fine art festivals throughout the western states. She is represented by Artist Eye Gallery in Laguna Beach, California, Front Room Art Gallery in Spokane, Washington and the Driftwood Collective in Manzanita, Oregon. Bailey’s love for adventure goes hand in hand with her love for painting. With every hike and outdoor exploration, her desire to paint grows. She takes a realistic yet vibrant approach to her work capturing nature's beauty in oil and watercolor. Bailey considers herself an adventure painter. She captures nature’s essence, but more importantly, she creates a painting that takes the viewer back in time to one of their adventures, or hers, inciting feelings both of nostalgia and joy. Bailey is a painter for adventurous souls who make wayfaring a way a life and celebrate remarkable moments in remarkable places.
