Atenas Morales is a Mexican botanical textile artist based in Seattle and the founder of Scarabajo Studio. Her work explores eco-printing, natural dyeing, and various textile techniques, creating one-of-a-kind wearable textiles that capture the shapes and pigments of plants. Inspired by the landscapes of the Pacific Northwest and her Mexican roots, Atenas approaches fabric as a living canvas where nature leaves its own imprint. With a background in performing arts and art management from the International University of Barcelona, her practice blends movement, color, and storytelling through botanical processes.
